The Prairie State Railroad Club would like to express our sincere thank you and appreciation to all the people that make the Pumpkin Train Festival possible. Although it was different from what everyone has become custom too, it was still a wonderful "Family Fun Day" for everyone.

Hello Everyone,
Starting next year at our Pumpkin Train Festival, on Saturday, October 2, 2027, your child will have to have a special color ticket in order to obtain their pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch. Only Children may pick out their pumpkin and their parent may help them carry it over to the table to decorate it.
This year because we were setup differently because the weather and things changed, we had our pumpkin patch by the road and adults were walking from the vehicles taking a pumpkin and putting it in their vehicle without a child being present. Our staff did not say anything to the people, because we did not want any trouble at the festival, because it's a "Family Fun Event".
The Brummel Family Farm provide these pumpkins Free of Charge for the children each year out of the goodness of their hearts and are suppose to be for the children only.
We are sorry if this upsets anyone, but this is how we will be able to make sure that each child receives their pumpkin, because we have a limited amount to hand out each year, and there were sad little children when they were all gone.
